VISION

The vision of UPSHS is to make it a centre for excellence in academic and vocational education - a school of choice in the Cape Coast metropolis and the nation in general.

MISSION

The University of Cape Coast in conjuction with the Ghana Education Service, under the auspices of the Faculty of Education founded the school with this mission:

  1. To provide a Practice/Model school where students from the University could do their teaching practice.

  2. To provide holistic quality Secondary Education aimed at excellence and competence which will give a strong base for Tertiary level of training aimed at acquiring careers for nation building.

  3. To produce competent individuals of integrity who are physically fit, morally upright and academically sound to provide responsible service to themselves, family and society at large.
